touring plan

we are going to wdw aug 20-26. sat 8/20 check in at wl. rest. swim. hddr for dinner. we have 5day park hoppers. this is what i would like to know. if i want to do 1park in am and different 1 in pm which parks on which days would you do. we must start out with mk sunday and end thursday eve at mk.
example
sunday 8/21 mk-ds?
etc.
we want to break up our day back at our hotel
we want to spend one am at mk and two pms at mk
we want to spend one am at epcot and two pms at epcot
we want to spend one day at ak
we want to spend 2 ams at ds and 1 pm at ds
thankyou so much in advance.
this is for me and husband. our 3 grown girls one with her husband and our 5 year old grandson.

The park hours & extended park days will be listed 3 months in advance. It will be a bit easier to plan when you know this info. I agree with your plan & think the number of am's & pm's is just about right. However, I think 2 am's may be too much for MGM unless you want to do it all!! I also agree with the mid day break for naps & swimming!! It will be very hot in Aug!!
Here is a recommendation I have for planning a group family trip. Make sure you meet ahead of time to discuss the trip & find out everyone's expectations. There is nothing worse then planning a trip & finding out someone expects the whole family to be together 24/7 while someone else wants to have some alone time!
Once the hours are posted, make a plan & post is back here & you'll get lots of help from dis'ers!!

this is difficult to answer this early...I agree that you will want to wait until you have park hours and parade schedules to make such a plan...spectromagic parade is not run every night and you will want to catch this and sometimes WISHES is not every night...so I would sit back and wait to make those plans.....

in general though AK is an early closing park so it would be an easy night to head over to MK that evening...perhap dinner at a monorail resort to ease the transportation to the park...also look for the EMH schedule to help you plan
