Can you give me an example of your touring plan for each park? If I'm at each park at rope drop, what is the best plan to see most things?

Personally, I think it would be easier for you to spend $10 and get a subscription for a full year to Touringplans.com. I am sure there are other things out there with touring plans, but this is the site I use, and I feel the value exceeds what I pay for a year's subscription. It would be easier to do this than to write out a full touring plan. They can be really complicated.

There is a function on that site where you plug in what you have planned for each day and it comes up with a personalized touring plan for you that you can move things around on so it suits what you would like to do in any given day.

There's no one right way to do it - there are just too many variables. Here's mine from a few years ago, but I don't know if it will fit your needs.

I would definitely recommend touringplans.com. If you own the Unofficial Guide, you get a discount. The small fee is DEFINITELY worth it. I will never again do WDW without a touring plan. On my last trip, we did not wait in one single line on our first MK day. Priceless!

The previous posters are right, there are so many variables... for instance, just because one expert tells you that a great touring plan would be to _____, doesn't mean it would be right for your family. Does your family like coasters? Do you have young children or teenagers or is this an adults trip? Will you be making ADR's, gotta account for those times. Plus, with the new Fastpass return times being enforced, that changes the game a bit.

What I did, in addition to getting a couple subscriptions---one to Touring Plans and one to Tour Guide Mike---was study the map of WDW before our first trip nearly 20 years ago... I learned what we wanted to do, I made ADR's, and then planned accordingly.

Have fun!!

Yes everybody is right here. First of all you have made a good choice in understanding that wdw is complicated and needs a plan. The book the unofficial guide to WDW is my fav. It is full of info. It has some general plans that work very well. But they have a web site that is listed in this thread too. In that web you can modify and make your own plan ( they charge a fee for the this there is discount if you buy the book). By no means are these the only ones avail but I like them the best for me and my Fam.

Touringplans.com is a must. They even have an app for your android and iphone. I use them all the time and they are a life saver!!! I also create a touring plan BEFORE I go so that we have an idea of what we want to do, but we can always modify it to suit our needs later. It is what we have done in the past and will do so for this year's trip!

Good luck...

ALESIA.....So I took a look at your Touring Plan and I saw that you had Giordanipos pizza delivered. Can you still do this? We moved from the midwest 5 years ago and I have missed Giordanos. I would LOVE to be able to get some.

Absolutely. I can't remember which location delivers to WDW, but if you call the wrong one they'll let you know.
