Which attractions are most popular, and should be done first or very early in the day?

What attractions are most unique to Paris? We have been to WDW FL and DL CA over a dozen times each, so we want to be sure to catch those attractions/shows which are different than the ones here at home.

Any hints as to how to approach our one day in the park to get the most out of it?

Thanks!

Are you staying at a Disney hotel? That will make a big difference because you will get EMH and be able to go into the park on your full day at 8am. Sounds early, but if you can take full advantage of it you will miss some of the crowds. I've haven't been to Florida for many years so hopefully someone else will fill you in soon, but I hear POTC is better at Paris, Alice's Curious Labyrinth in Fantasyland is unique to Paris, Tower of Terror in the studios falls differently, Space Mountain is different and the castle is quite different and supposed to be the most beautiful in all the Disney parks. Don't miss a quick visit to the dragon downstairs.
In Studios, Crush and TOT are the most popular, and Crush can't be fastpassed so often has a queue of an hour or more.
In Fantasyland Dumbo and Peter Pan have the biggest queues but you can do these in EMH. In Frontierland BTM and Indiana Jones, in Adventureland POTC is the most popular. And in Discoveryland Buzz Lightyear and Space Mountain - again these have EMH opening.
I'm sure there were a couple of one day plans posted not too long ago - if you scroll back 10-15 pages or so you will find them.

I can't really add anything to Cathy's brilliant advice other than to say if you get chance check out the gallery upstairs in the Castle ~ there are some beautiful stained glass windows telling the story of Sleeping Beauty.

Elaine and Kathy,

Thanks for the great tips--this gives us at least a sense of what is different and what might need to be done early in the day. I especially appreciate the tips about the windows--I love stained glass. You can no longer go "inside" the castle at DL, and the upstairs at WDW is a restaurant, so there is good possibility I might have missed those without your suggestion!
