Touring plan suggestions? 1 day AK, 1 day HS, no thrill rides

Feb. 24 and 25, 2017. Park hopper tickets.

Can our two families with small children see all of Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom in 2 days if we don't want to ride Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, Primeval Whirl, Tower of Terror, or the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster? (Don't worry; those of us who do want to ride them will split up from the group throughout the day!)

We definitely want to see the Star Wars fireworks, but help us decide between Fantasmic and River of Light, if it's open then.

To answer your first question: Yes, easily

We absolute love Fanatasmic! and would recommend it to families with small children. It is not happening this trip though as Star Wars fireworks are a must do and we can't do both shows. Would love to see Rivers of Light if it ever happens.

I definitely think it's doable in 2 days and at a pretty relaxed pace too. Hard to comment on RoL, since it's not open yet, but Fantasmic is such a great show that I always highly recommend it.

I agree. I can typically do HS in a half a day even with thrill rides. There just isn't that much to do anymore. Even without thrill rides, you can do a whole day at animal kingdom (i do it now, pregnant) since there are tons of shows and animal exhibits. But, just cut out some of those shows you don't care for and you can do it no problem.

Between Rivers of Light and the star wars fireworks, I'd go hands down star wars. it is by far the BEST fireworks display i've ever seen at Disney. They go all out with lasers, projections, fireworks (of course) and more. It's amazing. Rivers of Light is great, don't get me wrong, but Star Wars is better.

Its funny you ask this, because Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are the one day parks in my opinion. You can do them in one day WITH THE THRILL RIDES, so you will have no problem at all without them.

How can you compare RoL with SW fw if RoL hasn't even had a soft opening yet?
Maybe your confusing it with another nightime show?

If there are people in your party that are die hard Star Wars fans, then totally they should see the Star Wars fireworks (which I'm totally looking forward to seeing for the first time next month), otherwise, Fantasmic is an amazing show too. It's great fun for everyone to see. As for River of Lights, hopefully it launches soon so people can start making some decisions on if to check it our not.
