We are taking our first US/IOA trip since 2004 and this time with kids.
I am not a firm TP follower or one to plan each attraction at WDW but should I have a sort of plan of attack with US/IOA? Any suggestions as to a guide? Feeling overwhelmed with just a day at each and a busy week with Disney parks mixed in. we are staying very close but not on US property.
TIA for any help

looking at your siggie, does that mean you will be at the darkside the second week of october?

if so, do the parks on the weekdays, it will be less crowded.
weekends tend to become busy due to hhn.
you get more afternoon crowds for those coming in prior to the night time event.

I will be at IOA on Sunday and us on Wednesday. Both will be arrive by park open. It's the best we can do with IOA due to ADRs, meeting friends and Halloween party at MK.

We are considering adding a 3rd day. Does Universal allow add on park days after purchase like Disney does? We hoped to play it by ear on our last day ad decide which park we want to visit our last, another WDW or another US.

yes it does. When you are in the park, just go to Guest Services and have them add the day. Universal does not bridge a price like Disney does, but you will just pay the difference between what you paid and the price of the 3 day.

Have a great time at USO.

Awesome!! Thanks do much, now we can just see how the week goes.

if you want to add a 3rd day to your pass, do so before the park closes on the last day of your ticket.

you can do this at places in the park or at guest services inside or outside the park.

Thanks. I hadn't considered that, we need to make a decision then fairly early. With the park closing for HHN, and we change hotels that day, may not be enough time to bother with another day anyway.
