Trying to have a plan for our visit to Seaworld. We have a 2yo who loves his afternoon naps so we plan to return to resort around 2. May or may not return that night. Here is my plan. Want get to see everything but I tried to include the things we did want to see. Any suggestions appreciated.

Rope drop @ 9am
Head to empire of penguins
Journey of Atlantis (my son and mom can go to aquarium while we ride)
Feed dolphins
Visit turtles and manatees (if time)
Blue horizons 11:30-12
Pacific point preserve before Clyde and seymore
Clyde and seymore 12:45-1:15
Lunch at expedition cafe
Visit dolphin nursery and shops on the way out

I definitely want to see the dolphin show. But am flexible on other shows. Just figured Clyde and seymore fit best in our schedule. Will plan to see One Ocean on next visit.

Try to catch the pet show (Pet's Ahoy I think?). Not only is it indoors and air conditioned if you need a break but it is absolutely adorable and your son should love it.

Dolphin feeding is at set times throughout the day. You can pet the dolphins any time, but feeding is scheduled. I would suggest doing the feeding first thing during the day. First feeding is usually at 9:30am.

You can really just walk up and pet the dolphins?? Is it only certain times of the day??

Yes you can!

Petting is usually the entire day. I think it usually closes about an hour or so before the park closes. Sometimes there might be certain reasons why it may be closed like lightning in the area.

The feeding is only at scheduled times during the day.

That is crazy! I was going to do the dolphin encounter thing just so my daughter can see them up close and I don't even need to! How awesome! Are there other animals that your able to interact with closely like that?

Yes! You can also pet stingrays. That's located right next to dolphin viewing. You can also feed the stingrays too.

Be aware too that the dolphin exhibit is split into two. One side for people who bought fish to feed them and the other side for people just petting them. The dolphins tend to stay on the side of the people feeding them and sometimes don't really come over to where the other people who are not feeding them are standing. Plan to visit the dolphin exhibit when feeding is not going on so that you have a better chance of interacting with a dolphin.
