Hi. We'll be visiting WDW and dedicating 2 full days to US / IOA next november.

I've already planned out our days and Nov-29 / Dec-4 will be our Universal days. Those days are almost off the Thanksgiving week, so with some luck the crowds might have eased off.

Out last visit has been in Feb 2013, so there are a lot of new rides, which might alter whatever touring plan I can remember.

We'll do single park tickets. And we are staying off site, so no express pass.

a) Can anyone help me decide what day to do each park? I know that Nov-29 has longer operating hours than Dec-4.

b) What's the suggested itinerary for each park considering the crowd level we might encounter?

TIA.

First of all, don't kid yourself, November 29th is going to be busy. Dec. 4th though should be slow. For that reason alone I would go with Park to Park passes instead of single park tickets. If you are sure about your dates and the fact you won't want to add another day, you can buy a 2 day Park to Park ticket from USSSA for less than a 2 park base ticket anywhere else. http://store.usssa.com/Products/122-universal-orlando-park-tickets.aspx . Those tickets expire Dec. 31st and the 2 days must be used within 6 days of each other. So, your dates just fit.

On the 29th, I'd hit IOA first at RD. I'd consider trying to hit forbidden Journey first. From there I'd head back up front for Hulk, Spiderman, Dr doom. From there,I'd work my way around the park to Seuss landing, Lost Continent, WWOHP for Dragon Challenge and shopping. Once lines started getting long, I'd consider hopping over to USF (Either by Hogwarts Express or through the main entrance), and hit attractions like Disaster, Twister, etc until after dinner when the lines start getting shorter again. Then you can start hitting MIB, Mummy etc. I'd then finish the day with Touring Diagon Alley (I'd probably save Gringotts for the 4th) and Cinematic Spectacular.

On Dec 4th, I'd start at USF with Despicable me, HRRR, and transformers. In the afternoon, I'd hop over to IOA and finish up what you missed the 29th before returning back to USF. Hitting Gringotts in the early evening.

Thank you!!!!

I know it will still be busy, but I'm hopping for not-crazy busy.

I'll check out about those tickets. Thank you!
