We might try this for our next trip. Is there any strategy to this park? We would not do any big slides, we would do teamboat springs, the tween and kiddie area ( 4 and 8 year old) any suggestions/ resources

We don't do the two biggest slides either. We get there around 9:30 to rent a locker before rope drop. We always do Teamboat Springs first. We take the ski lift up and that can develop a line. We usually ride Teamboat Springs a few times and then move on to the other slides. We like to take the lazy river from one area to the next. We usually do Runoff Rapids, followed by the tobaggan racers and Snow Stormers. Downhill Double Dipper can get crowded so you might want to do that one earlier, but we usually skip it. Then we spend time at Meltaway Bay, Ski Patrol, and spend some more time on the lazy river.

I'm mostly with Tarheel girl, but I would do Downhill Double Dipper first. Longest line-to-ride-time ratio! Plus the meh-est queue. I'd do it a couple of times (it's fun!!) and then move on. Like she said, the line for the ski lift can get long too, so we ride it early and then walk up the rest of the time. We don't take the lazy river from place to place, though. We just walk, and basically save the lazy river and wave pool for afternoon, when the crowds build up. And a doughnut break ;)

I should add that we go in September/October so we've never gone when it's crowded. Only lines we saw were for the ski lift, Slush Gusher, Summit Plummit, and Downhill Double Dipper. I found that my kids complain less when we travel by lazy river.
