Touring in the Rain

We leave tomorrow for a 6 night trip. It looks like some heavy rain is forecasted for at least the first 2-3 days. I’ve packed rain coats, water friendly shoes, the stroller cover, and an umbrella. I’m trying to not panic, but my concern is I have a 1 yo and 3 yo. Any tips for touring in the rain with toddlers especially with a wet mask on the 3 yo??

Pack a battery operated fan to be used under the stroller cover to keep little ones comfortable. We did this trick when son was younger. He was dry and cool and just enjoying his stroller ride as we dodged the 3-4" deep puddles.

Back when more shows were going on we would watch radar and try to schedule indoor stuff during the worst down pouring rains. Not sure how to mitigate in current limited shows.
