Touring before buying

The SSR sales center has models to see. I haven't been for awhile but I believe the have a Poly model and are probably in the midst of making up the CCV model. Not certain what else. There is the model at BWV and I wouldn't be surprised if they are still touring the "model" room at BLT if you stop by there. Otherwise you're really on your own to stop by a resort and hope to be able to see a room. Early afternoon would likely provide the greatest chance of that happening.

The boardwalk gets a lot of foot traffic and they have a DVC for sale sign on the boardwalk. My guess is that the open house results in enough sales to keep the model rooms open.

Yep. We haven't bought (yet), but it's how I found out about DVC last summer. Strolling along the boardwalk...big signs and an open door to the model room... Of course I had to take a peek! Now we're renting points for our next trip and will probably be deciding then whether to take the plunge (resale of course since we know better thanks to this board).
