Tour questions

I've never done any of the tours before but I'm wanting to do the keys to the kingdom for my next trip, just wondering how far in advance I should be booking it? Also same questions for the pirates and pals fireworks voyage?

One other question, i'll be using the Disney bus system to get around, will I have any trouble getting to MK on time for keys to the kingdom staying at the all star resorts?

I think I booked about 5 months in advance. Loved the Keys to the Kingdom tour! We didn't take the bus, but the busses start running at least an hour before the parks open. Sorry, don't know about Pirates and Pals.

I've taken many tours, and booked them as little as 2 weeks before the tour. Most of my tours have had 4 to 6 participants. Keys and Marceline were pretty crowded.
