I need opinions of Tour Guide Mike....I'm considering subscribing. Can anyone tell me the good, the bad and the ugly? We leave 9/26, so maybe it's too late to take advantage of it?

The Good:
  • It works.

The Bad:

  • The website takes some getting used to.
  • You don't have much time before your trip and the website takes some getting used to.

The Ugly:

  • The website takes some getting used to.

I would get it. It will tell you what park is best for what day. It mioght surprise you!! I think it's worth every penny..

Quick! Go out and buy the latest edition of the Unofficial Guide to WDW!! I thought about trying TGM, but I wanted to read the Unofficial Guide first, and it gave me all the info. I needed. There are some great sample touring plans that worked great for us (we went last year at the beginning of August). We never had to wait more than 10 minutes for anything.

And... you can take the book with you to refer back to while you're on your trip. :)

All I can say is I love TGM! Yes it takes some manuvering to work the site but the forums are great and if you ask for help someone there can help you find what you need. I love the info, tips and knowledge I have gotton there. Well worth $20.

I signed up for TGM in preparation for our upcoming trip. I have been reading over his stuff for 6 weeks or so now. Here are my impressions...

1) The dude know his stuff. I like that he operates more on a philosophy of touring than on "Xs and Os". That clicks well with my personality and learning method.

2) The site can be a bit hard to navigate, but give yourself a couple hours and you'll feel like a pro.

3) If you want the cutting, bleeding edge of current info, TGM aint the place to get it. That just doesn't seem to be his priority. Now this is OK by me, but for others not so much.

Bottom line: I am glad I signed up for TGM, respect what he is doing, and think he will help me on my next trip. But it is not for everyone.
