These are historic attendance rates for various times of year. You might also be able to find out by calling the WDW reservation line and simply asking if this Sept. appears to be more booked up than Sept. past.
I've heard, from people on this site, that some resorts are booked solid for certain weeks in Sept. but that might just mean crowds are expected to be slightly higher than normal, and normal for Sept. is pretty light. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I found several websites with info by typing into Google "disneyworld crowds in september" there are several sites to read but they all indicate September is a good time to go.
Speaking from experience, we LOVE September...low crowds, no need for fastpass, we never wait more than 10 minutes on any ride. Lots of fun.
