Tour Guide Mike questions....

I have been hearing a lot of good comments about TGM. I have been to Disney several times over the last 7 years. Do you think I would benefit from it. I am familiar with the attractions and shows and have planned my dining. I also have the Unoffical Guide book.

Would I benefit from TGM? What info would it give me? Your feedback is appreciated.

I've been to Disney 26 times and I benefited from TGM's info. There was a lot that I was familiar with but there were many tips and tricks that greatly paid off for us this past week. I think it depends too on when you are going. For example, in Sept you rarely need to worry about crowds and what exact times to visit which park. But in high demand periods and during the Summer that information is valuable.

I have to say that we followed his advice as best we could and it worked great!! We had to change a few standard vacation rules we had like usually sleeping in late every day! But it worked great and a few days we did in fact sleep in and adjusted our schedule accordingly.

So for me...I consider the money very well spent!

I was in your shoes just a couple weeks ago with the debate to try TGM or not since we have been there quite a few times and was very familiar with the parks......I went for it! I found a link on this board to a $3 off coupon so I figured what the heck. I figured with the free dining and chance that it may be busier and we'll be spending alot more time than usual eating, I would love to have a plan for the parks. He does have some great tips that I can't wait to put to the test! Seems lots of people on here swear by his touring plans.

For $18.95....I think TGM is worth it. I have never used UG though so I can't compare how helpful he is in additon to that. I did order a Passporter Deluxe too mainly to organize but I haven't recieved it yet.

This is going to be our problem. Not that we sleep in late, but trying to get everyone ready and out the door to be at park opening is going to be VERY hard. We can get up at 6 am and still not get there till close to 10 am. TGM's whole plans revolve around getting there for opening. I am going to have to come up with some very efficient morning routine for us, in order for TGM's plan to work for us. Not going to be easy.
