I'm not wanting to get a big discussion on the Argentina and Brazilian tour groups. We will be visiting Orlando May 20-28. Are their large tour groups during this time? We was there during July one time and their was huge groups of teenagers from Argentina and Brazil. Thanks

It's not bad then, but I've never been late in May. We've alway hit them big time in Feb/Mar.

Just went this Friday to MK, and there were tour groups everywhere. Some BTG, but more cheer and dance groups. I forgot that this was the season for them. They were well behaved for tour groups, even the BTG, but they were straggly and spread out. One difference was that the Americans were alone in maybe groups of three or four (like friends that were given roam of park, but had to maybe clock in with teachers) as opposed to BTGs that were kept in groups.

In all honesty, they're pretty much ALWAYS there now. I was there all year last year and so were the groups. Sometimes it was the super large groups with the teen girls, sometimes it was just lots of super large extended families. The dance and cheer groups come at certain times of year but there's almost always some kind of tour gruop now a days

We were just there in January and stayed at ASSP. There were lots of cheerleaders staying there, but no BTG. There have always been lots of BTGs at the values, but I didn't see a single group. I kept waiting for them to show up. I mentioned it to a CM in marketing. She said that they were no longer marketing toward the BTG. They were some trouble, and so instead, they have changed their marketing to things such as marathons. They had their largest marathon in January (Over 20,000 participants for the big one on Sunday) and they were now having another one in March. They can increase the rates and capacity at these marathons and not have the problems they had with the BTGs.

While there was no sight of any tour groups, WDW was flooded with South Americans the first week in January. I swear whenever I was in a queue, more likely than not, the folks in front of us and behind us, were from South America.

I went May 16th to June 2 last year, the place was full of them. Disney discourage meet ups from vloggers but allow massive tour groups chanting and the terrible line cutting

We've done trips in Jan, Mar, May, Sep, Oct -- most of our trips have been May and Oct. We've come across the occasional group, but nothing crazy. We wouldn't avoid May, for sure.

Argentinian tour groups are usually there Jan-March. Mostly in January.
Brazilian Tour groups June-Mid August and most there July.

Other groups such as cheerleaders, football, etc there scattered the rest of the year.

The above bolded is the best news I've read in a while...
