Tough to be a Bug Question

I swear this is terrifying. I'm not scared of much but I will never see it again. Ever.

My kids were 3 and 6 when we took them to see this- they have never recovered enough to want to do it again. :scared1: However it's Dhs favorite show! 2 years ago we asked them to give it another try and they could leave it they wanted to.

They wouldn't even sit on the benches because of the stuff that pokes you, sprays you etc. they chose to stand right next to the exit doors. They ended up leaving and waiting outside for dh and I.

to this day, they do not want to see it so now that they are 14 and 11, dh and I go see it :3dglasses and they wait right outside for us.

Wow... okay, glad I asked. I think we'll leave this one out for this round. Maybe when they are a few years older they can handle it but I think that big red spider at the beginning is more than they could handle so I can't imagine spiders in the dark, falling from the ceiling. :scared1:

Thanks everyone! (we leave for the airport tonight!!)

Is that because we only have little black widows here but you have spiders that can kill a man by looking at them over in the down under?

Yep, I'd guess that's why :lmao: If they were actual little tiny 'real-looking' spiders, THEN I would have had a problem!

We saw Tough to be a Bug on the last night of our 7 night stay, and we thought we'd seen everything and were a little blase before we entered the theatre - but we were so glad we did!

Those "giant" spiders falling from the ceiling............There NOTHING compared to what we find in our backyard...................isn't that right Heidispidi :rotfl:

Had to share. We took our Little Monkey for his firts DL visit last year, he was not quite 3 at the time. He's normally game for anything and will "tough it out" on certian things, especially if he get's a "prize" for being a good sport. DH decided to take him to Bugs Life.:scared1: I thought it would be too intense for him. He got a little spooked on the Grand Canyon part of the train, and he LOVES trains!!!! Because I'm the wife, I had to be careful on how I worded my objections, yelling and saying no isn't an option with my DH. "Are you sure you want to take him in there? It's pretty intense and he hasn't seen any other 3D show yet?" DH's repsonce "He'll be fine." Turns out I was right. He was okay for most of the show, until Hopper came out with all his "buddies" and smoke. Monkey was not having any of it, DH took him out of the theater. DD and I followed after the show was done (maybe 2 minutes later). We let LM run around for a while after that in the Bugs Land, he had a blast.

We love this attraction. I admit part of the fun is watching how many people get up and leave. I know, I'm twisted :)
