Tough Decision

Ok, so I'm starting to put together my Xmas list. i'm trying to decide between XM Radio or a new Ipod. I currently have an ipod mini, but its old, and it doesn't hold its charge well, so I think its time for a new one. I have heard cool things about XM radio, but I think I might be happier with a new Ipod, but I also love all the features of the XM radio. I can't make a decision.

Which one would you choose and why?

Well if you tell apple your ipod isn't charging well and holding its charge then you can send it in and get a new one and don't have to pay. You'll loose all your songs. But if you do that you still can get the xm radio thing for christmas.

If I didn't have to pay monthly for XM, I would CERATINLY choose that one over an iPod lol. But because you do have to pay monthly (like a phone) I would choose an iPod.

Well I would probably get an ipod, but not the video. Get nano or shuffle if you're getting an ipod, because I have a feeling apple will redesign the videos to look like the nanos after christmas.

I have an MP3 player that is, in my opinion, better than an iPod. It doesn't hold like 7,000 songs but it holds enough. It has better features and EXCELLENT sound quality. It is also the cutest thing in the world haha and you can get them in other colors. There are several screen savers to choose from and you get a radio too. You can save pictures and some other files on it and there are three ways to choose the songs you want to listen to. You can choose and album, artist or track. Also, they put the names into the player without you having to do that. They are also kinda small...but not flat. I got mine for Christmas last year and I thought it was a thick memory card for a camera at first! haha!

Mine is a Zen Microphoto.
Over here, in CDN dollars, it's cheaper than those new Nano's. It cost me 199$ but I offered to pay for half and my parents paid the other. You can get in other colors, in 4 GB, 8 GB.. etc.
Mine holds photo's, has a color screen, radio, voice recorder, live radio recorder, and you can change the color scheme for the text. It has much easier buttons to move around the device. I've always found the wheel on the Ipod annoying and confusing. On the Microphoto, it's easier to use. No wheel.

I used to have a mini also but i hated it.. so I gave it to my mom and baught a blue ipod nano, I love it.. and since my mom wanted an ipod it worked out good, and she loves hers. the point is the blue nano works wayyy better.

XM isn't all that good. I find it annoying. My friend's dad has it and we kept loosing the signal in the car, even on bright sunny days. I'd get the new iPod

It is a Samsung. It looks like this: (NOT actual size haha...like I said, it looked like a thick and slightly larger memory card for a digital camera before I took it out of the package lol. -- and mine is a pretty light blue color)

It is! I love it. I like the color of mine a little better though...it's a pale blue. The square "ring" around the middle button lights up too. heh...it took me a while before I found out it was a button.
