TOTWL on Christmas Day

Has anyone here ever attempted to go to TOTWL on Christmas Day for Holiday Wishes? We're at AKV but would love to head over there tonight.

I assume there are no "blackout dates" for those of us staying in points but not at BLT? How crowded do you think it will be?

Some family in FL are meeting us for part of stay at BLT...can I bring them up to TOWL or do they need to be a guest of Disney hotel??

Well, unfortunately we never made it over there. The family was exhausted after being at RD for MK that morning. We might try tonight but we're headed home tomorrow. :-(
