TOTWL Entry Rules???

Hi All. We just booked a trip using our DVC points, for our son and his girlfriend. Will they be able to go to the lounge? I am seeing conflicting answers, maybe someone here knows for sure. With their Magic Band, I assume it would show they are staying Dvc with points. Is that enough to get in? The kids are not on our actual lease, so they don’t have a membership ID card. Can they get in? He has gone with us, and was looking forward to sharing the experience with his girlfriend. Thanks for your answers

According to the website: "This perk is available for our Members and their guests. People who are in that Member’s traveling party and staying on that Member’s reservation are also eligible to visit Top of the World Lounge. At least one Member in the traveling party must accompany the group and present his or her current MagicBand or card in order to gain admission to the lounge and observation deck. A Disney Vacation Club Membership Card is also required to verify Membership."

I would read this as there needing to be an actual member present and that they may have trouble getting in. Might as well give it a try though! If they can't get in there they can hop over to the lounge at California Grill.

Yes, pkrieger2287, you are correct. I had to call DVC member services for a Magic band issue, and asked them. There must be a member, with card, to get into the Lounge. Oh well. They will have plenty of other places to sip a cocktail during their trip.
