DC has been really frequent today so I don't think I'm going to try again... I keep dc-ing every 15 minutes, which is not enough time to wait in line and trade!

wow 15 min that's pretty frequent, i dont even dc that often and i have dial up!

Every Saturday I tell myself that next Saturday I'm not going to be foolishly sitting in line waiting to dc ... and then when Saturday rolls around, there I am... sitting in line

Yeah. I know I won't be trying to get in next saturday.
I won't be in town and won't have a computer at my disposal.

there HAS to be a better way to do this, doesn't there?? Did you ever get back in line Mnementh?

They seriously need to fix the dc problem.
In the meantime, they could have the lines inside the rooms just a little shorter so that I can spend more than 3 minutes trying to get into the queue before having to log off and re-log in again.
Or have 2 hosts trading pins in the room.

3rd time was a charm for me. First two attempts resulted in disconnects mid-trade which makes me wonder why I even made a third attempt. Needless to say I finally scored a Grand Cali Pin which i foolishly traded away months ago.

I did ask Lily though that for Christmas I want no more disconnects in VMK. She said "Woot to that", but come on like Santa will really deliver on that!
