Totally Surprised dh today

This am I got up a wee bit early to do a quick search on the internet to find some concert tickets for DH's extra Father's Day gift.. I know, I know... I usually am on top of things.. this got away from me... ANYWAY...

I got him tickets to see 2 Concerts this summer... He was thrilled when he opened his card to find ticket vouchers for OZZFEST AND THE WHO!!! YAY!.......... The best part was Shoreline and Ticketmaster were running a special this am..
$20 for lawn tickets.. including parking!! reg.. $50... just for tickets.. WOWZA!!!

Some things are worth waiting for.. !! or rather procrastinating for in life!!

I am just glad Barry will be taking our son, Jake, to both concerts instead of me... whew!

I am not a big Ozzfest kinda girl! LOL... So if anyone sees a middle age Black man and his very tall son bouncing about at Shoreline Amph.
just say Hey.... I've heard about you.. Aren't you the TURKEY DANCE GUY?? LOL

I'm glad he has Jake, I didn't realize you were in California when I made my offer. LOL I'd be hard pressed to turn these concerts down though!

The lawn at the Shoreline is cool! That's where we saw Elton John! You know they'll have a great time. (Oz is not my thing either - but DH has agreed to see Chris Isaak 3 times this summer!)

I used to like the lawn at Shoreline too when I was able to manage it... The handicap seating at Shoreline leaves a little to be desired.. but they do provide usher service when you sit there.. I am sure The fellas will be a movin' and a groovin' on the lawn .. it will be Jake's first concert..

Ms. Bailey... LOL yup you would have to travel quite a way to be dh's date.. but I am sure he would take you up on the offer!

I'm afraid my DH would wrestle me so he could go!

I wonder if I'd win that match? My hubby is a pretty big guy!
