Totally outrageous purchase at DL?

Last October I discovered the Jim Shore Disney Traditions collection and had to buy the Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas figurines. My friend bought all of the same ones, we were so afraid of not finding them all if we waited. :o I love them, and boy was it a rush!

What are these??? Do you have any pictures???

Last year the kids decided I needed something for my 60th BD. They bought me the oil painting of the "Pearl" sailing at night under a bright moon. I so love that painting.

Jack pirate:

Okay, we did NOT make this purchase, as much as mu dh begged me for it, we just didt have room in our house! He wanted a Micky Mouse statue dressed like a Jedi. It was only $150., but where would we put it? But i think we might get it next time since we are moving into a bigger place.
Too Funny!!! DH wants that statue so much!

I think our outrageous purchase has to be the Thomas Kincaide 50th anniversary print. It's the cheapest of the prints, certainly not the canvas ones but it was framed and cost close to $500 -but it is so lovely over our fireplace and we're both thrilled we got it.

I remember posting this in my trip report 2 years ago...
8 yr old DD gets into autopia and sits in something wet. She was in her own car. When she gets out she said the seat was wet.
After a sniff - its PEE!!!!!!!! She sat in some kids pee!!!! Quick trip to mainstreet and $80 later she had a new princess track suit. I didn't have enough $$ on me to buy undies so she had to go with no undies all day.
Now, thinking back, I wish I had told a CM, I probably would have gotten the outfit discounted or maybe even comped? All that was in my head was ICK EWWWWW ICKY and I had to get her out of her clothes!

OMG! LOL that is so gross. Next time I go to the park I'll be checking all the seats to make sure nobody peed on them prior to me sitting in it. Was she at least thrilled to have a princess track suit?

Well just about everything I bought at Disneyland I wouldn't buy any other time. My trip in November resulted in who knows how much money in glowing necklaces and all things bright and sparkly that I now have nowhere to wear and are just sitting on my mickey ears over my mantle.

Those figurines are like Pringles! Once you get a hold of one ya can't stop! :teeth: Last month I bought the one of Goofy making toy soldiers and he's dressed in a court jester outfit. I also got the Tinkerbell and Jiminy Cricket. Now I want the one of the Fairy Godmother and Cinderella.:rotfl:

when i was at Disneyland in july last year i bought a $60 "pirate princess" jacket because i was cold and didn't want to walk back to my car to get the jacket i brought with me! (i'm from AZ...im ALWAYS cold at Disneyland at night lol) every time we go we end up spending at least $100 on souvenirs...shirts, pins, plushes, scrapbooking stuff...you know whatever catches my eye princess: :rolleyes1
