I've only been to Foxwoods once--don't understand many of the games (Thanks for the explanation of the side bet) but did manage to put quarters in the slot and push the button. I only managed to win back what DH was losing. LOL

Hope you and Dee have a terrific trip. How are you going to get SWA to fly to Jamaica?

When we went to Las Vegas last summer, my DH played some new card game at NYNY, he sat down to learn the game while I hit the ladies room, when I came back and I aked him how he was doing, he said "I already lost $40 just learning how to play", well the next hand he hit a huge one, it was one of those games where you only get three cards and then they have odds listed on the table so if you get a royal flush or whatever you get whatever those odds are, well he hit a 200-1 and ended up winning $8,000.00...you should have seen how they treated us after that, like royalty, free buffet and guaranteed free rooms for this years trip. But he didn't stop there, this was an all-nighter and he must've had a cloud of good luck above him because we casino hopped all over and he was winning everywhere we went, he mainly plays craps and we were at Mandalay Bay for 2 hours on one person shooting the dice, my DH picked up $4,000 more there and then he tried the $25 slot machine and picked up $450.00, then to Caesars and won another $2500 at craps and finally back to the Mirage where we were staying and had another 2 hour stay at the crap table there for another $3,000.00.

Ok, now imagine me, all along the way he is giving me 100's and I am playing and can't even win a darn thing! I have to admit, though he was winning money that was OURS, I was kind of jealous. I couldn't win if my life depended on it.

Oh well, maybe someday my time will come.

Congrats Gail!!! I went to Foxwoods two weeks ago with only $40 to play bingo. I ended up walking out of the bingo hall with only $10. I put it into a quarter machine right outside of the exit. On my first pull I hit 5 times pay 5 times pay red 7!!!! I won $750 on a .75 cent bet - it is a great feeling! I put that money towards my disney trip! Congrats again!
