The Disney Visa came through again for us. In addition to completely paying for tickets, souvenirs, and food for a Star Wars weekend this year through points earned on our Disney Visa, they just came through for us again...

Got a call from Chase (who handles the Disney Visa program). Their fraud alert system caught over $2100 in charge attempts this morning, mostly in a suburb of Sydney, Australia. They locked the account and called me before putting any of these transactions on my account.

Spoke with a nice lady from their fraud department who went through, line by line recent activity and removed everything that we had nothing to do with. No paperwork, no hassle, just verify what their systems had identified as fraud and reissue the cards under a new account number.

Good news....sure saved you a major hassle.

As credit card companies go I've always found them as one of the more consumer friendly to deal with.

Don't forget the private photo op with members of the Fab 5 at Epcot only for Disney Visa Card holders. You get one free 5x7 photograph taken by a Disney photographer at Epcot's Innovations West. This is held daily from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. We stop in there all the time as long as there is no line. You are allow quite a lot of time with the characters. At no point do you feel pushed out the door. Before you walk in, you're given a certificate for the free photo and after about 30 minutes, you can go to the Epcot Camera Center and redeem it for your free photo.

I'd hate to have my Disney card hijacked; I'd have to get new cards and give up my cool 50th anniversary design. :lmao: I get to hang on to it until 2011 otherwise...

I've never done the meet-n-greet for whatever reason; knew it existed but never really think about it at the time. Maybe next time...

Watch your statement to make sure nothing shows. That same thing happened on or Disney card and one of the transactions made it through because it posted a few days later. They had identified the authorization as fraudulent, but it still got posted. This was six months ago and we have still not managed to get it removed. We have called and e-mailed muntiple times and all they wil say is that it is still under investigation.

I just got a call from Chase about my Disney Visa, a suspicious $0.10 charge that indicates the card number will soon be or has just been sold. Interestingly, I live in the same area as rtphokie.

Same deal, new card number, all suspicious charges removed, etc. It's still no fun... I had that card number memorized too! ;)

Mandatory photography content: that card bought a *lot* of camera equipment! :)
