OK, so I figured out where I want to spend next spring break (at the Poly :cool1: ) which unfortunately for us falls on Easter week. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get the best deal. I am now officially cross eyed after searching through all these threads so let me just ask you experts.

First, I can reserve rack room rates through CRO for the dates I want for 2007. Then, when AAA rates come out in May or June, I convert to a package deal because we also would like the dining package. I think I'm clear to that point.

Now, should I also follow AP rates? I realize you can't do dining with the AP rates but are the savings great enough to make it worth changing to AP rates. How hard is that to do? I see so many posts about the "codes" so it seems like when they are available it would be like trying to call into a radio station to win a prize. Hope someone out there can help me figure out how to do this. TIA :thumbsup2

If you want a package with AAA (meaning dining and such) then you have to book with an AAA agent, can't do that through Disney.

If you are doing a room only, then you can have the AAA discount applied and book through Disney.

AP codes, yeah kind of a gamble so its really up to you. AP's are best used for park admission. You could get an AP rate for next year and then purchase the Disney Dining card (for $60) which will get you 20% off table service meals.

But again not really sure if DDE will be offered next year as AP perks are subject to change.

Don't know if that helps you at all.
