After 9 trips to WDW, we are going to Universal for the first time next summer. I booked 3 nights at the Royal Pacific, club level. I have some questions that I hope seasoned veterans will answer:

1. When you get to the hotel, does a concierge come down and take you upstairs like they do at WDW?
2. I read on the Universal site today that the pool at Royal Pacific is going to be closed this month and they suggested that guests use the pools at PBH and HRH. Is that just because the RP pool is closed, or is that how it is all the time?
3. Is the coffee in the lounge any good?
4. If we want to go to early opening (which is highly likely) do we have to get to IOA way early to be at the front, like you do at WDW?
5. Have you been to the Saturday night luau? Did you like it?
6. How's the food at Three Broomsticks?

Anything else, please feel free to add it!

Thanks.

1. Yes, someone will take your bags if you like.
2. You can always poolhop. You just need your roomkey.
3. There are Keurig coffee makers in all rooms. Not sure about the lounge coffee.
4. I would leave your hotel at 7:30 to walk over to IOA for early entry.
