Total Rooms Question?

is there a limit to how many rooms total you can have, I had put in a code for a room and it came up a green color and not sure what that means, anyone have an idea, I really do not not that many, I think not any how

Green means that it is friends only. Click on the i in the lower left corner, and uncheck that box if you want it open to anyone. But, beware! People will come into your room when you are not there and hang out! I made all mine friends only for that reason. I like to know when people are in my rooms. Call me weird (OK, I take that back, because most of you WILL call me weird), but I don't like virtual people in my virtual stuff without my virtual self there with them!

(unless, of course, I dc, at which time, all bets are off!)

OK, I'll give you the bug problem. Who knows with VMK these days.

However, Jasonpwns, you are wrong about the people not being in someone's room unless they are there. I have had it happen when my room was not friends only. I signed on and people were in my rooms. I hadn't given them personal names yet, they still had their default names. I showed up and they were sitting in my room chatting, and seemed annoyed that I asked them what they were doing. I booted them and changed it to friends only. Went to the next room, and they were there! Down the line I went until they finally figured it out and/or all my rooms were friends only. And, no, I didn't know them. I had just started playing and hadn't made any friends to speak of yet.

I have asked staff several times if there is a room limit, because there is a limit to how much furniture you can have in a room. I found this out the hard way while building my ride room for the everest team event. I had to rebuild it 3 times because I reached the furniture limit. Anyway, I was told by several staff members that ther is not a limit to the number of rooms you can have (at least not to their knowledge), but the more rooms and stuff you have, the slower things will load for you. I actually sold a bunch of rooms because it was almost impossible for me to do quests because the pages would not load. After I sold the rooms, vmk got much faster for me .

The only way to access a room you are not in is via a teleporter. They cannot get to your room unless you are in it unless they get there from a teleporter link.

I have no idea if there is a limit to the number of rooms you can have, but I can tell you this. I have a storage mule which has nothing but skull rock rooms. And that mule has over *200* rooms at last count. 1 room for each piece of furniture. That is my goal, to fill each room with one particualr piece of furniture. When the big "Skull Rock Hoax" came about, I got and put in all my Skull Rock codes.
