Total Resort Points

Just out of curiousity, how do they figure out the total # of points for each resort?

For example, do they count lockoffs points as Studio points + 1-BR points or are they counted as 2-BR points?

but if you want a studio and 1-bedroom - don't get a lock out - why - because only one key for both places - no privacy!

They count the total points based on each Vacation Home. The lockoffs are counted as 2BR's in this calculation. Dedicated Studios and Dedicated 1BR's are counted separately as I understand it.
