DH and I are planning a trip for early next year and thinking about staying off site. Can we still do character meals and make reservations and such? :confused3 I know that sounds so silly to some of you! Forgive me! Just trying to get all my questions answered before we decide where to stay!

TIA!

I started making mine without reservations. Because it was way past the 90 day mark I was worried that I wouldn't get what I wanted and wouldn't go if I couldn't. Once I had it set, then I made my resort reservations.

As the others have said, you can absolutely make reservations for any of the restaurants you wish (that take them) whether you stay on-site or off. The only advantage staying on-site gets you (in this case!) is that you may make up to 10 days of dining reservations at 180 days from your check-in date (aka 180+10).

For your case, if you do stay off site, you will be limited to making reservations up to 180 days out from date of dining.
