Total last minute trip: help!

I believe you are thinking of Tangaroa Terrace located where Hook's Pointe used to be inside DLH.

Check out the Culinary Quest review:

:thanks: That's exactly what I was thinking of.

I'm so out of the loop. I cannot believe how much has changed in 8 months.

If it's just Chloe and I we'll be able to eat cheap and good with maybe a nicer meal at Storyteller's for breakfast. She loves Chip n Dale. Can you still order off the menu vs doing the buffet?

Does the DLH have a mini friedge and microwave? I need the fridge for one of her medications.

No fridges?? That is going to be a hard adjustment coming from DVC room.....

I wonder if you can request one. I know for a few years now all the Mod and Deluxe resorts at WDW have fridges in every room.

With just two of us, it will be fine even if DH joins us for a few nights. If this was a longer trip I'd waitlist GVC or just stay at my friends. :goodvibes

Looks like my friend will be meeting us for 2 days so we might just grab one day hoppers for the last day if need be. :thumbsup2

I always thought the rooms DID have refrigerators... Maybe should call?

Good idea. All I need is something for her meds. It won't kill me to do the whole cooler thing for such a short trip though if need be.

Happy almost Birthday! Have a magical trip! pixiedust:

Hey there! Good to see you planning another DL trip.

Sorry to hear about your daughter's tough year. Special mom and mouse time will be so good!!!!! Sounds like you and Chloe will have a magical time!

We were there just last June and I can't believe all the changes too!
We will just miss you, My family will be there June 21-29! We are staying at Park Vue Inn just across the entrance. :hippie:

Sounds like Star Tours was a crazy busy opening. I'm glad we have a couple weeks to shake out a plan there and for Little Mermaid also! There is also a new parade to catch.

Have a wonderful trip. Had to say hi...won't be on much til I get my laptop fixed...the blue screen of death has visited it! Uhg! And right before my trip, too! Hoping for a fix today after I retrieve all my data. Wish I could play on the Dis all day instead!

The Plaza Inn has a new character breakfast, too, which sounds really interesting. Little Mermaid, Star Tours and the new Soundsational Parade are all open now. The Disneyland Hotel's new rooms are wonderful! Your daughter will love the new headboard. If you haven't listened to the Disneyland podcast lately, you should check it out. There are a bunch of "adventures" for resort guests, including a scavenger hunt and early shopping experiences at Downtown Disney. Nancy (YellowMickeyPonchos) wrote a blog about them (http://www.disunplugged.com/2011/04/16/bonus-adventures-for-a-disneyland-resort-hotel-stay/) and they sound like fun.

Have a great time!

Just wanted to thank you all for the great info. Our plans have changed. We were set to meet some dear friends at the lake the week after Disneyland and they are now coming the week we had planned our trip to Disney. Chloe and I decided to postpone Disneyland and head to the lake with our friends. :goodvibes We know Disneyland will always be there. :thumbsup2

Enjoy your upcoming trips and kiss Mickey for us. :grouphug:
