My radio station has been playing her song "Pieces of Me" for a couple weeks now. The morning DJs are going on and on about how good it is.

Personally (and JMHO) I think it's awful. She doesn't have a great voice, and to me it sounds whiny. Not to mention, it's just not a great song. It's just, well, kind of weird, like she didn't really know what sound she was going for.

Any other opinions?

I have to agree with you. I don't think she has talent. I've watched her show on MTV, and it showed her recording that song. She hit more sour notes than good notes. To me that proved that the radio version is probably doctored up to sound good.

I also saw her on the teen choice awards last week & she was lip synching the majority of the song.

Nothing like riding the coat tails of her sister!

The song is ok, but I don't like MTV giving her video heavy airplay. Obviously, MTV is just hyping Ashlee's show. I think Jessica has more vocal range.

I really like the song. And I like her way more than that half-wit sister of her's.

I don't mind the song, I heard other songs off of her album on her show on MTV that I like a little better.

I think she has talent - at first I didn't though. I saw those rehearsals on MTV and she was having a hard time - at least that's what they showed, they didn't show the good stuff.

I kind of like it. I watch her show and thought she had no talent but was surprised that I liked the song when I heard it on the radio.

I still think her sis has the better voice though.

I like her a lot better than her sister. Everytime Jessica sings she sounds like she's giving birth.

i actually really like her voice. there are other songs on her album that are better that pieces of me, imho.

i like her way better than her sister. i can't stand to listen to jessica simpson.

I didn't like her song Pieces of Me when I first heard it cause she sounded off, but it has stuck onto me and I now like it.

I think that Jessica has alot of talent and that she is able to hit higher notes and do more things vocally, but of course both sisters sing different types of songs.

What bugs me about Ashlee is her all too obvious attempt at being the "anti-Jessica". And "Pieces of Me" sounds like "Pieces of Something I Can't Say On A Family Board".

I don't know which sister I like better, probably Ashlee...though I think Jessica is A LOT prettier

I saw that show too. She kept trying and trying...over and over again trying to hit that note or sing it the way it's suppose to. She was struggling. Now, if that was Christina Aguillera...she would have hit that note the first time. I think Ashlee just "wanna be." And in my book, she will never be. I think Jessica is much prettier than her, IMO.
