For a whole 256K

I have my own wireless "air" card that is twice to four times as fast.

Disney has a business center at BW but they charge for computer time and per page print out.

I heard they were moving the race to this Sat(10/20) so we will be able to run while the others are out of luck

Bill LOL I was listening to Hallowishes on the way home tonight and all I could think was 'the guys' were going to have their hands full making sure the ladies stayed on course and didn't go off shopping or suddenly join in the Halloween Parade thanks for the reminder that the guys won't be all that well behaved either with their rendition of the Village People and the sacrafices to the Boogie Monster

Jen and Wendy you know where to find me at 3 pm next Friday I just have to shop fast as we have dinner plans at Epcot for 6 pm. I'll be sure to wear my racing sneakers that day so I can put some speed on between checking in, shopping and racing to dinner LOL

Hey guys! Question from one of those not "in the know" about such things - isn't Pleasure Island a ticketed-entry area? Will we have to pay some sort of admission fee to get in to get to the club where the packet pickup is?

No Pleasure Island no longer charges a entry fee but I do believe there is an entrance fee for the clubs. Lets hope that since we are picking up race packets they won't charge for entry to the club since that is where we HAVE to go to pick up the packet.

I am wondering if this is a better option for people than the WWOS location. To us it doesn't matter since we drive to WDW but those that have no vehicle wouldn't it be easier to get to Pleasure Island than WWOS?

I believe that PI changed to a wrist band systems that you have to have to get into the clubs. No tickets needed.

My guess is they didn't want WWoS open until 8:00 at night and Pleasure Island had an area that could handle it. I would also guess that In Motion will be closed to "clubbers" until after 8:00 since they can't play loud music and hope to be able to hear the runners/volunteers.

We will have to go pick up our packets & buy stuff IN COSTUME to get to MK in time!
How embarassing is that going to be???

Please tell me some of you will also be at PI in costume!

I think we may just have to go on the Sat. If it only opens at 3PM not sure what the lineups will be like and since we have the ressies for 4PM it could be kinda tight so we might head over but if the line ups are bad we will just go Sat....but if we end up there Friday at 3 yes we will be in costume....

Be aware that there are no busses that go from Downtown Disney to any of the parks. You would need to take a car or find some other way to get there.

Glad I read this thread--actually a better deal for us though. I was worried as to how we were gonna get from SSR to WWoS with the kidlets and no car--but now, now worries--we'll just hoof it, or ride the boat!

I would say there is no way they would charge us to get the race packets!

Can't you get from DTD to TTC? I would take the bus to the Contemporary(or MK Resort) and just ride the monorail to MK.

Here is some new info:

I just found out from EMMI for the 13K that "There are 4 beverage stations with water and the last two will also have PowerAde." Hope this helps everyone. This is about every 2 miles which should be plenty of aid.

Leaving for Reno in 2 1/2 hrs for a stay overnight before early am flight.
