I just recieved an email from Disney that stated the race will start in the parking lot of MGM.

BTW, they state the course map will be on the website soon. Yea right

Leana - I agree. I really need to plan that weekend, as we are leaving on the Wonder that afternoon. Geez, come on Disney! Give us some info!

Funny you should mention that as I emailed Disney again today about it. When I emailed on 5/14, 6/14 I got the same answer "soon". I received a read reciept a few minutes ago I the email today. Should get the same canned answer again

Does anyone know if you have to purchase the party tickets in advance? Or if there is a DVC discount on the party tickets like there is for the race?

Hubby mentioned today that he wanted to go to the party and I thought he wouldn't have wanted to. So now I have to order him and my youngest son tickets.

I don't think there is a DVC discount. They don't offer you purchasing them on the DVC app. They say order them online or at race packet pickup.
