I've read a couple of people mention ToT will be closed in Oct. Please say it is'nt true. This is my first trip since I was a kid(about 20 years ago) and the ToT was the one ride I so looked forward to. I know that BTRR is going to be closed, surely they won't close two major rides. Does anyone have information?

The ride should be operating at 50% capacity during your visit. It'll be out completely for about half a week in late September though. The Magic of Disney Animation will be closed in September and October as well.

It is possible: On September 17th, the Tower of Terror will be closed through the rest of the month and possibly into October. The reason for the rehab is to get a whole new Tower console for the ride.

Did they decide to close it altogether now? That's too bad :( When I asked on Sunday, they were still going for one side at a time.

Maybe they changed it (which would be great news!!!) again. I will ask again on Saturday myself. That was just the info I got a little while ago. I really do hope I am wrong since they installed the lap belts it has now become one of my favorite rides.

Ohh - please find out! I'm taking a newbie in September and she'll only do Tower of Terror if I do. I've done it once and I'm not eager to do it again so I'm probably the only hoping that they close it totally! LOL

I'm suprised they are closing/rehab so many attractions this Fall. I find it odd that they promote the FTP and then have several attractions down!!!! So far it seems, The magic of disney animation, BTMRR, TOT. I'm not too pleased about this. But, I guess I should look on the positive side, which is there are a thousand more things to do.
