This is our two year old's first trip to WDW! :) Our favorite ride is Tower of Terror. Where exactly does the child swap occur on this? I'm kind of nervous to take him into the tv room with the thunder & lightning. Guess I'm afraid he might get scared. Is it possible to avoid that room? I've done the ride enough times that I don't feel like we'd be missing anything.

our experience with it was that you don't even go through the ride line together. You get a baby swap or "rider switch" ticket from either a CM at the fast pass kiosk or from the CM checking fast passes at the fast pass entrance. One parent rides while the other parent does something else with the little ones, when the first parent is done the second takes the baby swap ticket and goes through the fast pass line. It actually works well b/c you can get a fast pass for ToT with Mom's park ticket and one for RnR with Dad's. You get baby swap tickets for both and then you can ride both rides w/o lines. We did this and my husband went and did both while I took the boys to meet Mickey and then Buzz and Woody. He called me on the cell when he was done and we met at the hat to switch. He then took them on the backlot tour while I did both rides. Worked quite well! They were happy and busy the whole time and we both got to do both rides back to back with no lines. It made our time at MGM go very fast. It's not a park that has much for our kids since they are very "non-princess" so there aren't many shows they want to see.

We did it another way, as DS decided not to ride as they were positioning us for loading of the next "car". They just took DS and I down to the end where you come out after the ride - and where you look at the pictures that are taken on the ride. When my husband came off the ride, they took me back up and I got on the next car. It wasn't a big deal (they do it this way all the time too) and DS wasn't made to feel bad for "chickening out".

Lollipop Mom, that sounds great! We do both want to do Rock N Roller Coaster as well as ToT, so the pass system would work well. :) Thanks for the info!
