TOT 13K on Saturday

My brother is running the TOT 13K on Saturday. He already purchased party tickets for his family. My family of 4 would also like to attend. He was told that he can purchase additional family/friend party tickets at packet pick-up. Do I need to be worried that the party tickets will be sold out? If we go, I have to make some major changes to our schedule and a couple of dining reservations. Any thoughts?

Any idea how many runners there will be compared to last year?

I would think you are safe getting party tickets at packet pickup. Go early to make sure.

There are 3200 people signed up for the race. This is more than last year(they allowed only 3000 13k'ers and 1000 6.5K'ers last year).Race cap is 4000(only 80% full) and they are allowing people to signup at Packet Pickup on Fri & Sat. Races filled up almost 2 months before the race last year. I know of many people(including myself and cast members I talked to on this trip) that aren't doing it because of the increased price and no Cast Member/DVC discount.
