Has anyone done this on Tortola? It goes to Norman Island ... TYIA! Cheers!

April. So at least i will be able to give you some info. However I would love to hear from someone who knows about this excursion before we. I even emailed DCL and asked for the name of the company leading the trip. It has been over a week and I have not even gotten a reply.

I'll email too and keep you posted if I hear anything! ENJOY your trip!!!

A week after emailing DCL, asking the name of the company so that I could ask about life jackets for children and restrooms, and after posting here that i had not gotten any reply, I did get a reply that it would 'take some research' and they would get back to me. Been a few more days now and still nothing. It all makes me even more nervous than I was before. You mean to tell me that they dont even knows which company will be taking us out in April??! Or is this just very bad customer service from DCL?? If i dont hear something soon, I will just cancel it and go to the beach on our own.

Hi,

Did anyone manage to get any info about this excursion or go on it

Would like to know about the restroom situation too !

Going with 5 & 9 year olds so would need restrooms on the boat.

Thanks. xx

Hi, I am also wondering about this excursion if anyone has done it and can give some info. We set sail in 8 days and my husband had back surgery yesterday. He isn't allowed to submerge in water right now so snorkeling/swimming would be out but he would still love to do the excursion just for the time on the catamaran and island. His concern is that he may have to get into the water when the boat docks at the island. Can anyone give any details? Thanks!!

I have not done this excursion but my husband and I have done two bareboat charters in the BVI and visited Norman Island both times. I assume you'll be going to Pirates Bight. Unless it is a pretty small powerboat/sailboat it will be mooring at Norman Island and not tying up at the dock. They may ask you to swim ashore but more than likely I would think they would have a dingy to take you in to the dock. You'll really need to find out the operator to know for sure.

Did this on last week. 3rd week long fantasy cruise and my favorite port adventure. Nice cove to snorkel in, with 2 really cool caves, lots of fish. Then, a very nice and relaxing beach with a bar and lounges. The crew on the boat couldn't be nicer with drinks, punch, water, etc. and good snorkel equipment. The SAD part was that I dove and snorkeled this area 20 years ago. The coral is dying so fast it makes you want to cry. If you are going to do a snorkel port adventure, i would do this one. I think it was on the rebel yell.
