Tortola: The Baths or Snorkeling?

We did the baths on our own in May of this year. Super easy to do. They were unique fun and beautiful.

My only two cents is don’t rush to go thru the caves. The first beach is beautiful and less crowded.

The charter companies will do the Baths and a snorkel stop and lunch for less pp.than the full day excursion through Disney, with less than 20 people total for your group.

I know this post was from some time back, but we are sailing on The Treasure later this month and we are struggling with the same decision! Snorkeling vs the Baths when in Tortola with our 2 teenagers. I'm curious about what you decided and what you thought about your excursion.

Last summer on the Fantasy, we did the half day at the Baths and really liked it. We booked the earliest excursion time in the morning. The walk down to the first beach was fairly easy and we got to spend about an hour there before going through the pathway through the boulders to the second beach. Again, we spent about an hour at that beach, and then we headed back to the bus which took us to the ferry to get back to the port. We found the half day excursion was the right amount of time for us as we were back at the port and able to get our lunch onboard the Fantasy rather than paying the extra $45 per person in order to get lunch on the “full day” excursion. Our kids, who are now in their twenties, really enjoyed this excursion too and we would highly recommend this excursion. We saved our snorkelling for our day at Castaway Cay.
