Is anyone else planning to arrange a trip to the Baths themselves with children under 5? I am just curious what plans are being made beyond the ferry schedule
I was in Virgin Gorda this summer. Watch your ferry times closely and give yourself plenty of time. They always seemed to run late.
The Baths were a little more strenuous than I expected. I wound up spraining my knee going down the stairs. I am Pooh sized and had just healed from a previous injury. I was probably no really ready.
They are really beautiful. I wound up not going all the way through due to the knee pain, but everyone else enjoyed it.
Just know that you will have to carry the little one frequently.
Virgin Gorda is really laid back and no one moved fast.
Sorry, just has time to look at DIS.
We actually stayed on Virgin Gorda this summer. Someone else did the ferry a couple of times and it was always running behind. If you want a for sure thing, I would personally do the water taxi.
This is absolutely fine. There are several ferry services to Virgin Gorda, but we went on http://www.bviferries.com/. When you arrive on the island, cabs will be available. Make arrangements with the driver to return and pick you up.
We stayed in Cane Garden Bay on Tortola this summer and took a day trip to Virgin Gorda via SPeedy's. http://www.bviferries.com We were able to purchase a baths day/lunch package through them and it was very reasonable. The ferries ran on time, that day, and the lunch was great. Here is the special.

I do not know as we came in via plane and I never saw a cruise ship docked in Tortola.Where is Speedys in relation the ship dock? Is it walkable or would that be a cab as well? Our schedule shows us docking in Tortola at 8:00 so I was wondering if that package would have a departure too early for us
