Torrey Pines Golf Course??

Does anyone have any information on Torrey Pines Golf Course?? Specifically, how much the fees are to play. My Dh and my dad would love to be able to play there on our trip to Cali in Sept 2009. My dad has a cousin that lives in San Diego that he thinks could get them on, I was just wondering if anyone here had any info while we wait on Dad to get a hold of his cousin. TIA

My husband and FFIL were just there for the US open They said it was about 150 per person, unless they are a San Diego Resident then its like 50. So they would need cousin to play with them to get the discount. Hope that helps

Mon - Thurs $145/ no cart
Fri - Sun $181/no cart
$40 extra for cart

REGULAR RATES FOR NORTH COURSE:
Mon - Thur $85/no cart
Fri - Sun $106 /no cart

Although these green fees may seem high, when compared to Pebble Beach in Carmel, Torrey Pine is a bargain. Just saw Tiger win the US Open trophy, and looks like a real gem of a course.

I played Torrey Pines back in 1998 when I was in SD for a conference. I didn't pay $188 because the round was part of a conference outing. I remember the course being absolutely gorgeous but it was the toughest course I ever played. They were getting ready for the Buick Invitational...and for Tiger...so the rough was like 4"-6" high. If you hit 2 feet off the fairway you were in trouble. I was never so frustrated playing a round of golf but the view of the ocean from so far up made it worthwhile.
