OK, so I'll continue this trend to stray slightly off-topic.... :D

We're going to the Jays game on Sunday (2:05 start) and thought our kids might enjoy a trip up the tower, as they've never been up there before. We were planning on maybe having brunch at the 360 Restaurant, but looking at the menu and prices from their web site, I don't think so! We're looking at a minimum (before tax and tip) of at least $35 each  , and somehow I think the nuances of the menu selections (grilled portobello mushroom with tofu, Merguez lamb sausage, etc.) will be lost on the kids.

We were thinking maybe Gretzky's (both our kids play hockey) but their web site is pretty much devoid of any useful information.

Anyone have any suggestions? The kids are 10 and 12. Thanks.

ObDisneyReference: Geez, and I thought the food prices at WDW were pretty bad!

It's been a few years since I was there, but I remember Wayne Gretzky's being not bad. I think it was relatively "simple" food compared to what you were mentioning... no Merguez lamb sausage as far as I can remember, lol. ;) There's lots of sports memorabillia throughout the restaurant, so your kids may enjoy that.

I just did a few searches for the the restaurant. You said you were at "their" web site... I'm assuming you mean http://www.gretzkys.com/main.html . So... off to find another one I found this one: http://toronto.com/E/V/TORON/0013/63/19/1.html . This one is actually pretty cool! It has two "virtual tours" of the restaurant, the complete menu (found on the left side of the page... beginning with the "great starters" link and working the way down), a map, directions, reviews and some other stuff. Check it out if you haven't already. :D

Have a great time at the Blue Jay's game!!! :)

You can always try the Hard Rock Cafe or even Planet Hollywood. Good for atmosphere and all, but if you're looking for better food. Try Movenpick's at the CBC building. There's a Swiss Chalet down Front St near Union station, or even Montana's (If my memory serves me correctly).

I also remember this place... I think it was called Acme. I hope I remember this right. I loved the food here. Great burgers and you can grab a handful of peanuts before you enter the dining area. And the cool (not for all) if the fact you can chuck the peanut shells on the floor. LOL! :)

<font color=blueviolet size=4>There's a restaurant just down the street from the Skydome called Leone's (might be Mama Leone's, can't remember). Anyways, they serve italian cuisine and our meal was very good! Our waitress was crazy, she was imitating Eminem & Fred Durst b/c we were on our way to the concert. Hehe... Anyways, the meal was fairly affordable for 4 sixteen year olds ($35-40). Have a great time! :)

Unfortunately Acme Grill changed recently to a victorian pub their main courses seem to run about 15.00 each

We just recently went to Toronto, and we enjoyed our lunch at Wayne Gretsky's, prices were moderate, and the food was good. If you or your kids like hockey then you really should visit Wayne's just for the memrobelia.

We're gonna try Gretzky's - I'll post a report when we get back. Our kids are quite the hockey fans, as witnessed by this conversation we had tonight...

My 10yo DD said to me, "I must be a better player than Gretzky." "Why?" I ask. "Because he's never scored a goal against me." [She's a goalie.] "Oh," I said, "maybe that's because he's never taken a shot on you." "Well, that just shows how good our defence really is!" :p

Sigh. To be 10 again. ;)
