We made it through. What a day and the tornados are still flying in Ohio at this hour. Some reports of unconfirmed f- 4 tornado. A couple of deaths and damage all across the state. One death occured in a car that was picked up. Movie theaters and buildings destroyed in Van Wert. Van Wert was hit hard. We had winds of over 70 miles an hour with small hail. Lots of rain, lightning and thunder. These storms have been horrific. Very very scary. A semi jackknifed in Columbus. The main post office near the airport sent home employees early tonight due to a power outage. Trees and power lines down around Columbus. I hope all the other Ohio Dis members are okay.
So far news is saying four deaths in Ohio... two near VanWert and two more in the next county over I still see some tornado warnings in the south but the worst seems to be over with for us here as well. I don't see any major damage but we'll see what the hail did to my DH's car in the morning.
I am north of you. The tornadoes hit my area very badly damaging Fostoria hospital and doing major damage to the retirement community (nursing home, senior living apartments and condos, and assisted living) where I work. We had to evacuate residents to the main building, and have not been able to locate some of them yet. Please keep us in your prayers.
