Well last night was so not fun.
It started out fun. I was at a birthday party for a good friend.
I had to leave the game and shut down the computer when the tornado warnings came out. We lost power for a little while. Most of the damage was further west, near the building where I work. Quite a few people that I know had damage to their homes and businesses.
I am very thankful that there was no loss of life this time. The killer tornados earlier this year were also very close to where we are.
On the plywood over one of the stores downtown they wrote "Dorothy blew by for a visit" and "Snickers is ok". (Snickers is their cat). So life is slowly getting back to normal here in some areas. The hardest hit residential area will take a while to clean up and rebuild.
Needless to say, I got very little sleep last night, and it has been a very long day at work. I am trying to log into vmk, but for some reason, the game is reloading and it is taking forever. Hope to see you all in the game soon!
Oh great, report of another tornado tonight south of here. Looks like its going to be another long night. I might just throw every pillow I own into the jacuzzi bathtub and sleep in there!
