Torn about upcoming Vacation

I would definitely do the Yacht Club. I have to say I am completely biased towards YC because it is my absolute favorite resort since Epcot is my favorite park. The location is fantastic! It is so nice being able to walk the boardwalk or pop over to the World Showcase in Epcot for a snack or grab a last minute fastpass to ride Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios. It makes it really easy to go back to the hotel and take a break when you are so close to two parks. I think your kids would like the convenience and the amazing pool that YC has as well.

I am trying to figure out what to do. I am planning a trip to Disney March 17-22. Going is me (Many trips to Disney), My mother in law (1st trip), My son 17, my middle daughter 13, and my youngest daughter 10 (will turn 11 at end of trip)

I had planned:
17-21 Grand Floridian (first visit to this hotel)
21-22 Staying at another hotel (Maybe Beach or Yacht Club)

However, been thinking of doing:
17-19 Grand Floridian
19-21 Beach or Yacht Club
21-22 Animal Kingdom Maybe Kadani and renting points?

or
17-20 Grand Floridian
21-22 Beach Club

Also trying to decide between a 3 day hopper and 4 day.

So confused as what to do!

As much as I don't mind split stays, my DD's and DH HATES them. They find them to be a complete waste of time and as another pp mentioned, they hate the feeling of being "homeless" on move day. I would have to agree with the most recent pp's that for the amount of days you're going, I would just pick one of the Epcot resorts (BC/YC - my personal favorite) and stay there with no split.

Whatever you choose, hope you have an amazing time!!

AK is our home resort, and we love it. Savannah rooms all the way... BUT... our kids are little. They love love love sitting outside and seeing a giraffe or whatever is there at the time. They have night vision goggles that makes it even more fun. The pool is great, and there is a lot of fun stuff on site. That being said... it's a looong bus ride, and far away from everything.

We are hotel hoppers, but that's because I like to try new things. We've done the 3 resort trip. We just got back from a 2 resort trip. I'm here to tell you... I would vote for a ONE RESORT stop for a 5 day trip. The only reason I will change "hotels" going forward is if we are changing parks i.e. Universal, Lego, etc. For WDW, I would just park my butt in one place and settle in.
