Hi everyone; just wondering if anyone knows the latest on the whole Tori Stafford mess.

I don't watch the news at home and the radio in my car broke about a week ago, so I haven't been able to follow the case.

Hi. Living about 20 minutes away here in Paris is pretty scarry. I think that the couple has been charged with first degree murder. I don't think that the body has been found. You would think that after the whole court deal, that the couple would give in and say where the body is.

There will be a memorial in Woodstock next Saturday. No recovery of the body yet.

The Calgary Herald said yesterday that the police had told Rodney (Toris father) that they may never recover the body. They didnt give any reason. This whole case is so sad. I cant believe this could happen in the manner that it did.

The whole thing just makes me want to puke.

I remember when the whole Kristen French thing went down - I was about her age, and I was so incredibly traumatized. Now this - dd is only 9, and I would like to think that she "knows better", but isn't that what every mother thinks about their own children.

I'm afraid.

I am glad that they changed the charge to 1st degree murder for Terri-Lynn, I was really afraid that this was going to be another Karla Hamolka (sp?) trial, where she sits in a minimum security facility getting a university degree and out in 12 years. The girl obviously had a major part in it, she is the one that kidnapped her. I really wish that Canada would take a look at how sentances are served, and start forcing offenders to serve sentances one at a time and not consecutively (sp? sorry my spelling is horrible today)

lm very curious to hear more about their motive.They said Tara knew Terry-Lynn's mom?? lts all so sad. My heartbreaks for this family.

I believe that Tara, Tori's Mom, knew Terri-Lynn. I dont believe they were close but do believe they had met on several occassions. Tara and her bf had told police that they believed she was the abductor after the tape was released.
