Torchwood - Children of Earth

Okay, who else is watching this mini-series on BBC America?

It's AWESOME. We just saw the first episode and are dying to see more! I've been a TW fan from the beginning, and was bummed that they decided to do a mini-series instead of season three, but if it's all as good as tonight (and they set it up to be mind-blowingly good) then my worries were for naught!

Especially love the awkward little moments where Captain Jack and Ianto try to come to terms with being a couple. If they are. Which they totally are. They're chemistry is SO great. Plus, they're both such handsome men. Makes me swoon every time they kiss.

Okay, I'll stop gushing like a school-girl.

Anyone else watching? I can't be the only one, can I?

It was funny how one time it was Captain Jack who said something about being a couple and Ianto was kind of "Meh" and then another time the situation was reversed.

I do hope the adult who can hear the aliens gets away - I felt so awful that he knew they were coming and everyone thought he was crazy and Gwen said "we can protect you" and then the black ops people came.

My DD said that the nosy people (like the new secretary) are the ones who always end up being good guys on Torchwood. Funny how the civil servant guy gives the Blank Page order and Torchwood is the only organization that can save the planet...

I hope Gwen's husband shows up a lot this week, I really like him.

I kinda ruined it for myself i was stupid and decided to look up Torchwood groups on Facebook and it wasn't a good idea....not at all i had started to watch it and then stopped but i am watching it on BBC america now. If you dont want it ruined don't look up ANYTHING to do with Torchwood especially not the actors websites. The BBC america website might be the only safe place. Great so far though.

I just set the DVR for both Day One and Two, and I will watch both until about 1 AM tonight.

Night two was even better than night one!

I've purposely avoided reading ANYTHING about it on the net so I could just enjoy the ride, and it's been SO good so far! Can't wait for night three! I don't know anything about what's coming up, so PLEASE don't anyone post it here to spoil it!

Okay, can I just say that I think Kai Owen (he plays Gwen's husband Rhys) is just freaking adorable.

With John Barrowman, Gareth David-Lloyd and Kai Owen, it's like eye candy heaven!

Pity they didn't show more of Captain Jack naked. Word is that Barrowman is quite . . . um . . . impressive.

Ok I did not read any responses ( so nothing would be given away) so my question is this. Can I watch this series if I have not watched the others? I wanted to and never started but I tivoed this!
