Does anyone know the time and place? Thanks.

Check the "Palm Island Press" that you will recieve when you check in for the exact days and times, but IIRC the torchlighting was Tuesday through Saturday @ 6 pm. The ceremony takes place on the ground floor of the GCH just inside the main entrance and then out on the sidewalk by the porte cochere.

You're exactly right! The kids and I got a chance to see this during our stay in August. We loved it! :thumbsup2

Can someone give me details on what exactly they do? I'm trying to decide if I should change around some plans so we can see it (had planned on watching Monday, but sounds like its not done that night) or skip it this year. We are going to the Spirit of Aloha, so should we skip the ceremony as it conflicts with our current Plans?

We just returned from an 8-day stay at the Poly and we totally missed the Torch-Lighting!! I had it on my list of MUST-DO's, but it just never fit in. I think one day we were even napping at that hour.

I'm interested in hearing about what we missed! :flower3:
