I have scored a dinner reservation for me and my wife at Topolino's and I am eager to hear some suggestions of food you like? Also, how would you characterize the portion size? Should we go for a three course meal or skip the starter or share a desert?

We have been maybe 8 or 10 times. We get the ricotta for an app. My favourite is still the rigatoni for my meal. I have tried the steak and other things, but I can get steak a lot of places on property, but not the rigatoni. It's unique to Topolinos. My husband usually get a seafood dish - it changes sometimes.
For dessert we always go downstairs and grab something to take w/ us from Le Petit Café. Their desserts are lovely and the put them in boxes.

Everyone likes different things tho.

Been twice, both times with a party of eight, and we get a bunch of apps to share as well as desserts. Everything has been good. The entrees are fair sized. Always very good. The rigatoni is a staple on the menu. I haven't tried anything there that I wouldn't get again. If something on the menu looks appealing to you, it's going to be good. Not really a recommendation, I know.

Thanks a lot! I also like to choose dishes that are unique to the restaurant!

We loved the gnocchi appetizer. We don’t usually get gnocchi anywhere & never get duck. But it was so good, we got it both times we ate there.

The gnocchi app is one of my favorites, my wife liked the salads.
The king salmon, lamb shank and Classic Sole Meunière have been our favorites.

We ate there for the first time last month. The three of us shared the ricotta app as well as the gnocchi. They were both delicious, though of the two the one I'd definitely get again was the ricotta. For entrees both my son and I got the rigitoni and we both thought it was one of the best things we'd ever eaten on Disney property. My son is a steak guy. He almost always orders a steak, and was really struggling between the rigatoni and the filet. In the end he was very, very happy with his choice to forgo the filet. Though I have heard great things about that filet! My husband ordered the lobster linguine and while he enjoyed it, he wasn't raving about at much as my son and I were about the rigatoni.

None of us were hungry enough for dessert. The service was outstanding and overall it was just a wonderful experience. We can't wait to go back!

We just scored this day of on Friday night...family of 6 - 4 adults a 4 year old and a 2 year old.

Will skip the kids food (but it was very good, especially for the price point).

Adults had:

Appetizers - Split the Burrata app and Ricotta app amongst the table
- Both were very good and easy to split/share.
- Mother in law and father in law also got the gnocchi appetizer to split and both enjoyed it.

Soups and Salads:
- I got the Romaine Insalata - and enjoyed it and split with my wife

Entrees:
- I got the gnocchi appetizer as my meal and it was delicious. It's a rustic take on gnocchi, but the flavors were very good. Gnocchis had a little sear/char on one side, but were still pillowy soft. I'm not a mushroom fan, but didn't really notice a mushroom taste within the dish, and I picked around them for the most part.
- Wife had the rigatoni, which I tried and it was really good
- Father in law had the bouillabaise, which he also enjoyed a lot
- Mother in law got the butternut squash soup and again really enjoyed it.

There honestly, wasn't a bad thing that any of us ate or had an issue with for the meal.
Preferences for each course would be Ricotta over the burrata (we liked the sun dried tomatoes that came with the ricotta and it was a great bite on the bread). We all really enjoyed the gnocchi appetizer. All preferred my wife's rigatoni to my father in laws bouillabaise. Romaine salad over the butternut squash soup. You'll have a great meal no matter what you go with though.

Our party of 5 ate there last June. I don't remember what we all had but we all LOVED everything we ate! I had the filet. it was so tender, melt in your mouth goodness. My dad had a fish dish he truly enjoyed. He has a tiny appetite but ate more at that meal than he typically does all day! He loved the bread as well. I doubt you'll be disappointed in anything. We were so full we skipped desserts and as others suggested, we bought dessert downstairs and took them back with us for later.

The ricotta appetizer is phenomenal. The ricotta has always been my go-to BUT I haven't had it since they changed the preparation back in ~December and added truffle. I've heard it's now quite truffle forward and that's unfortunately not my favorite. I've also had and enjoyed the filet and the sole meunière. I think the sole is probably what I'd go with if it turns out I don't like the "new" rigatoni.
