Topolino's breakfast walk-up?

Has anyone successfully been able to walk up to Topolinos Terrace for breakfast or use the walk-up list in MDE?

I haven't tried it - I have snagged it the day before a couple of times.

Unless you're at CBR where you could walk over or a Skyliner resort that you could take the Skyliner over, it would be a challenge since you usually have to be in a specific range to even get on the walk up wait list and Riviera is STRICT about allowing cars in to park or even rideshares in to drop people off without an ADR.

Agree with this. I've tried to get on some walk-up lists and wasn't within range, so that is important - the OP will need to actually get to Riv/CBR to even find out if it's an option, as you state. I also like you mentioning you have been able to get an ADR the day before - we've also experienced that, especially with breakfast, when some folks don't risk waiting until the next morning to cancel their breakfast ADR.

I am staying at Rivera so hopefully I’ll be in range. We are having late nights and lazy mornings so hoping I can do a walk up one of the mornings.

MDE will tell you if a restaurant has a walk up list available or if the list is closed. You need to be near the restaurant to add your group to the list.

I was going to try for dinner walk up. A suitable reservation became available while I was on the skyliner.

Check MDE every morning. You'll get an idea how often wait list is available and for how long.

Personal experience, and posters, reservations day before are somewhat available.

I think the problem is that because of the having to be in range and the limited ways to be in range (specifically not being allowed to park or even enter in a rideshare without a room reservation or ADR) there are not a lot of people who have even been able to try it. Add to that the people who post here are a small % of people who go to Disney and it's not surprising there aren't reports of success or failure.

I agree with pp. I don't think breakfast walk up is popular with DIS. I think the lack of experience reflects lack of interest not difficulty.

Your last minute cancelations are going to show up night before and morning of.
You could try one the paid reservation finders, probably not necessary.

Same. The 2 times I've gotten it for breakfast I got it the day before checking MDE for availability.
