Top Three 2012 Memories

Wow - difficult question. We have been fortunate enough to have a lot of good memories from 2012. Where to start?

Retiring from work after 39 years and celebrating at DL
Cruising with our grandson on PCC 3.0
Doing the Back Stage Magic ABD tour.

Not necessarily in that order.

In the order they occurred...

1. Staying at AKL Savannah view and seeing the giraffes right outside our window.
2. Giving birth to my daughter on the 4th of July.
3. Meeting my nephew for the first time. (He was born 5 weeks before my daughter but my sister and I live far apart.)

I have a lot of memories to look forward to!

Fun question....

In no particular order....

1. My mom surprising my sister, brother and I with a family
Disney cruise for everyone for our birthdays.

2. Seeing my nephew "star" as Tiny Tim in local theater group
production of A Christmas Carol

3. My niece being offered almost a full scholarship to college

1. Our rainy trip to Disney World in early October. Great time and cried tears of joy a lot watching my 4yr old smile no matter what. My wife still thinks I'm crazy for going to the parks in the rain.

2. Watching my daughter dress up everyday in a different princess outfit just because she can. She is Snow White today.

3. Spending time with my wife and daughter at the beach and having no worries in the world.

I realized about mid year that you never know when the things you are doing will be the last time you do them. I have been looking at life as a blessing.

2012 started out rough for me. My top 4 moments are:

1. finding out my father's lung cancer that was found on 12/31/11 had not spread and they were able to get it all.

2. going on the ABD backstage magic and savoring EVERY second of it and meeting everyone.

3. Meeting incredible awesome friends that I will know for a long long time.

4. moving into a newer house that already had been painted great colors inside.

:surfweb:

In no particular order:

* being invited to the Grand Jury of the International Chocolate Awards (after passing my "audition" with "flying colors")

* my whirlwind trip throughout England, which included stops in Manchester, Telford, Hastings, Tunbridge Wells and London, especially the private tour of the Prestat chocolate factory

*cruising with new and old friends on the Fantasy for PCC 4.0

1) Experiencing the Disney Dream AND Fantasy with great friends this year.
2) Watching my oldest son buy his first condo and move out of our home. (so proud! :goodvibes)
3) Hearing that our youngest was promoted to full time at WDW! (he LOVES his job! :lovestruc)

I have to add these even though they put me "over the limit" ;)
4) Celebrating my grandmother's 103rd birthday with her and our family. :cake:
5) And meeting our realtor in Celebration for the first time (as we begin our "move to Florida year" :cool1:)

2012 was not a good year for me, but I did have a couple of great things happen....

My daughter got engaged to a wonderful man

In September, my girls and I had a fabulous 8 day vacation to WDW.
